Children’s House Hours

The Children’s House programme begins at 8.30am

New three year olds commence with a staggered start to ensure a smooth transition into the community and to experience a sense of belonging. This will initially mean leaving the child for a short period, an hour each session in week 1, building to full 3 hour sessions over the course of the first 3 weeks, depending on each child’s adaptation to the environment .

After the child turns four years of age – and is ready for additional hours – the programme will be built up to 23 hours per week.  The additional hours are called "Extended day".
