There is in a child a special kind of sensitivity which leads him to absorb everything about him, and it is this work of observing and absorbing that alone enables him to adapt himself to life.
- Maria Montessori, 1967

Maria Montessori believed that all children were capable of deep concentration and a need for repetition to refine a task or skill. They simply required a ‘prepared environment' and a ‘prepared guide’ to assist them in their work that nature had already equipped them to achieve.

Brunswick Montessori Children’s House is new build kindergarten purposely designed to provide that prepared environment and equipped with qualified Montessori educators to guide children aged 18 months to their school years.

Co-located within the leafy grounds of Brunswick North West Primary School, Children’s House is a not-for-profit centre that offers two programs for your child.

CASA PICCOLA

A Montessori learning environment for children aged 18 months to three years and their parent/carer. Designed by a Montessori educator to meet the unique developmental needs of your toddler.

THE CHILDREN'S HOUSE

A complete (2-3yr) Montessori pre-school program for children aged three to five years, underpinned by the Australian Government's National Early Years Learning Framework.
